Born in New York, Eric Kaminsky moved with his family to California in 1949. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from James Monroe High School. Shortly thereafter he entered the Army and attended the Army Language School. He graduated in 1962 and was assigned to the Army Security Agency, dividing his time between Ft. Meade and Turkey. After his discharge from the Army he traveled in Europe and around the Mediterranean.
Upon returning to the United States, Eric attended college at California State University, Long Beach. After graduating, he attended Southwestern University College of Law.
Eric started his law practice in 1975, the entire time in Orange County. His practice has taken him throughout California and the U.S., working in State and Federal Courts.
Eric is a proud father of five children, four daughters and one son, and grandfather to eight grandchildren (at last count!)
